I started this last night, on a lark, as I love to read nonfiction at night (helps me fall asleep better than fiction) and read almost HALF of it.
I'm in a running slump, for one thing. It's interesting to read about this activity that has been something I also took to late in life, like Murakami, and also one that has been mostly about my mental health and my desire for solitude.
Where Murakami and I differ is that, though I like the mental 'void' running can bring, I also do a lot of thinking about what I am writing, or what I want to write, while running.
Which is probably why I've been struggling with writing a lot lately.
And probably why I've been in such a chronically bad mood for the last, oh, let's say, YEAR.
